The Sales Account Executive plays a critical role in driving station revenue by managing existing Local Direct and agency accounts, expanding relationships, and identifying new business opportunities. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Business Development (Existing Accounts): Grow revenue and strengthen relationships within your assigned book, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities across television and digital campaigns.
• New Business Development: Proactively pursue new clients in the local market
• Digital Sales: Sell multi-platform advertising solutions, including digital display, streaming, social media, video, and integrated campaigns. Educate clients on the value of combining digital and traditional TV to maximize ROI.
• Client Relationships: Build and maintain trusted partnerships with local businesses and agencies, positioning yourself as a strategic marketing advisor.
• Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver customized, compelling presentations that demonstrate the value of solutions.
• Automotive Media Expertise: Leverage experience with dealership advertising and automotive market knowledge to grow automotive client business.
• Creative Collaboration: Partner with internal teams and clients to develop campaigns that are both creative and results-driven.
• Account Management: Monitor campaign performance, optimize strategies, and ensure client satisfaction and retention.
Additional Responsibilities
Support station initiatives and projects as needed to drive overall team success.
Requirements & Skills
• Minimum of one year of Broadcast or Digital media sales experience, ideally with both Local Direct and agency accounts.
• Proven success in business development and managing existing client relationships.
• Experience in automotive media and understanding dealership advertising cycles is highly preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Demonstrated ability to sell digital advertising and integrate multi-platform campaigns.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of Comscore, Nielsen, Wide Orbit Traffic, and Wide Orbit Media Sales a plus.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
