LIFESTYLE SHOW PRODUCER

FOX21 News is seeking a Lifestyle Show producer. If you're a strong writer, have a great eye for video and can write a tease that leaves viewers wanting more, this is the job for you. The Lifestyle show is segment and interview based, highlighting events and unique story telling here in Southern Colorado. A college degree in broadcasting or related major is preferred and producing experience would obviously be a plus. Familiarity with I-News, Adobe editing system and the Ross animated system puts you way ahead of the game. If you're not a team player, this isn't the newsroom for you.
Requirements & Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, or a related field, or an equivalent
combination of education and work-related experience
• Fluency in English
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Minimum two years' experience in news operations
(Depending on market size)
• Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, fax machines and
other office equipment
• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks
simultaneously
• Flexibility to work any shift
Compensation
• Compensation range from $34-$40k per year + commensurate with
experience and skill level.
