This is a Full Time Job
The HR/Business Administrator provides a full range of administrative support to the business & operations unit, such as human resources, accounts payable, payroll. This position reports directly to the Vice President/General Manager and works collaboratively with executive leadership, corporate HR and business departments.
• Direct or coordinate the supportive services of the human relations, business and operations unit
• Administer employment processes; benefits, onboarding/orientation, leave benefits, employee veriifications and managment of payroll
• Maintain employee HR files and health dataHandle aspects of accounts payable/receivable
• Prepare and review operation reports with Executive Leadership
• Manage EEO Compliance Reports
• Prepare and submit monthly operational reports such as station corporate credit cards
• Discreet nature with access to critical private information is necessary
• Manage company vendor/trade contracts
• Liaise with Executive Leadership and Corporate staff
• Assist in planning, forecasting, administering and controlling budgets with Executive Leadership.
• Have at least 1 direct subordinate
• Provides administrative and clerical support to the Vice President/General Manager and other station personnel.
• Acquire, distribute and store supplies and manage vendor relationsMaintains files and records.
• Composes correspondence and prepares documents for transmission and/or distribution.
• Performs other clerical functions as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements & Skills:
• Bachelor's degree preferred and/or 2-5 years Human Resouces, Business Administrator, Office Manager Capacity.
• Fluency in English.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, fax machines and other office equipment.
• Interpersonal savvy, relates well with all people
• Builds rapport and effective relations and uses diplomacy and tact, confidentiality is crucial.
• Action oriented
• Strong time-management skills and the ability to organize and coordinate multiple projects at once
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and other office productivity tools, with aptitude to learn new software and systems.
Compensation- $23-$29/hr commensurate with experience and skill level
