Intern - Film Festival Volunteer for August 27th.
NewFilmmakers Los Angeles (NFMLA) is looking for hard-working individuals to help run our film festival on Saturday, August 27th, in Downtown Los Angeles. There are a variety of positions and duties available including ushering, front-desk check-in, red carpet talent wrangling, managing the floor and managing the theatre door.
Our event will be held at the South Park Center in Downtown Los Angeles (1139 S. Hill Street, Los Angeles 90015). Parking is available at 1133 S. Olive Street, 90015 (validations are provided).
Volunteers will work from 2pm PT - 11:30pm PT (event runs from 3pm PT - 10:30pm PT; volunteers will assist with prep and the breakdown of the event after).
There will be a short volunteer orientation around your arrival time. Please don't miss this!
An exclusive staff and volunteer dinner and drinks will be provided.
Bring your friends! We can never have too many people volunteer!
Salary
A chance to help run a film festival and to build your network with talented filmmakers, film students, film lovers and industry professionals. There will be around 500 attendees!

NFMLA is dedicated to advancing the careers of emerging, independent filmmakers and preserving Los Angeles's legacy of international film culture and filmmaking by showcasing a diverse body of innovative works from around the world in our Monthly Film Festivals. NFMLA provides a forum where filmmakers can be recognized for their contributions, have open audience discussions about their projects and connect with industry professionals for insight on distribution, production, acquisition and representation.
