DEPARTMENT: Player Development
REPORTS TO: Minor League Video Coordinator
JOB STATUS: Part-Time, Non-Exempt
The New York Yankees are seeking a Player Development Technology Intern to join our pursuit of a 28th World Championship.
Responsibilities:
• Operate a wide range of baseball technology systems at the Player Development Complex.
• Support Affiliate Video & Tech Assistants with video and data collection at the Player Development Complex for all games, Live BPs, bullpens, batting practice, fielding drills, strength/speed work, rehabs, etc.
• Travel to road games with Affiliate Video & Tech Assistants to help with video & tech setup and breakdown
• Assist with ad-hoc projects across different departments
Qualifications:
• Previous experience with baseball technology is preferred.
• Previous experience in a baseball clubhouse is preferred.
• Deep understanding of baseball rules and how to score a baseball game.
• Ability to accurately identify pitch types.
Expectations:
• Available to work in-person in Tampa from February 2026 through October 2026.
• Available to work long hours, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
• Able to carry heavy equipment around stadiums/complexes to set up cameras and additional technology
