Affiliate Video & Tech Assistant

Job Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Description:
The Affiliate Video & Tech Assistant manages all video and data collection, oversees travel logistics, and provides administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations at their assigned affiliate.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Chart, manage, and distribute all game and practice video and data for their assigned affiliate.
• Assist with Major League and Minor League video and data collection during Spring Training.
• Coordinate all aspects of break camp travel and itinerary for players and staff going to their assigned affiliate.
• Manage all aspects of affiliate travel and admin duties including flights, hotel reservations, bus schedules, etc.
• Work in conjunction with coaches and analysts to assist with advance scouting reports prior to each series and game.
• Capture and upload non-game video including bullpens, batting practice, defensive drills, etc.
• Oversee all high-speed video capture and upload processes for games and practices.
• Manage Trackman, HawkEye, and Kinatrax operations and workflow at assigned affiliate.
• Assist Amateur, International, and Pro Scouting departments with miscellaneous video needs.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Previous experience charting games with BATS is preferred.
• Previous experience in a professional baseball clubhouse is preferred.
• Deep understanding of baseball rules and how to score a baseball game.
• Ability to accurately identify pitch types.
• Previous experience with baseball tech tools such as Trackman, Edgertronics, KinaTrax, HawkEye, Yakkertech, etc. is preferred.
• Available to work long hours, holidays, and weekends
• Ability to carry heavy equipment, climb stairs, and set up cameras around a stadium setting.
