Post Event Sweeper
DEPARTMENT: Housekeeping
REPORTS TO: Manager, Stadium Operations/Housekeeping
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Part-time, Seasonal
Description:
The Housekeeping department is looking for a Post Event Sweeper for the 2026 season. This is a seasonal position on the post event staff. Prospective employees will be scheduled for – and expected to report to work for – the post clean of all New York Yankees baseball games, all NYCFC soccer games, the Pinstripe Bowl and any additional events that take place at the Stadium including, but not limited to, concerts and other sporting events.
Your work schedule may vary depending on the event and start time.
Please note that many shifts take place overnight. As an example, the most common report times are 11:00pm and 11:30pm and most shifts last around 8 hours. The job is not voluntary. Missed time, without a reasonable excuse, may result in discipline up to, and including, termination.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Cleaning and maintaining the seating area and all levels of the Stadium following events.
• Sweeping, mopping, picking up trash and recycling, and emptying rolling dumpsters.
Qualifications and Experience:
• This role requires the ability to work in an outdoor stadium environment.
• Flexibility in work duties. (Your responsibilities may vary depending on the event and cleaning needs).
• There must be a flexibility to work home games during the baseball season, evenings, weekends, non-baseball events and select holidays
• You must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time (with or without accommodation).
• Heavy lifting may be required.
