Description:
Manage and execute administrative, project and executive support activities for, and report to, the Senior Vice President & Chief Legal Officer (''CLO''). Serve as the CLO's principle point of administrative contact and liaison with internal and external constituencies.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Provide day-to-day administrative support to the CLO
• Answer phones, record messages, screen and direct calls and take action as needed
• Manage and schedule calendar; arrange, schedule and coordinate conference calls, meetings and travel
• Create, edit and proofread drafts of documents (including letters and memos, with the ability to produce them in redlined and cumulative redlined forms), presentations, spreadsheets, tables and charts; process, distribute and oversee execution of same (including through use of e-signatures)
• Create, manage and submit expense reports; distribute mailings; review and take action on mail/email on a daily basis
• Assist in: preparation, management and updating of department budget; tracking status of litigations and other matters; research and other projects
• Maintain physical and electronic files
• Maintain confidentiality of all tasks; interact with all internal and external constituencies professionally and consistent with the New York Yankees' high standards
• Perform other duties as requested
Qualification and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of five years' experience supporting a senior executive in an administrative capacity in a legal or business setting
• Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication, organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills
• Ability to perform duties while maintaining confidentiality
• Excellent computer aptitude including proficiency in: MS Office Suite (MS Word, Power Point and Excel), including ability to produce redlined and cumulative redlined documents, spreadsheets, Power Point presentations, tables and charts; Adobe (including E-Signature); and Workshare. Proficiency/experience with digital contract/matter management and legal e-billing systems is preferred
• Available to work overtime as needed
