Admissions Outreach Representative Latin America and Caribbean
The New York Film Academy (NYFA) South Beach Campus is seeking an Admissions Outreach Representative who will be responsible for identifying and recruiting students and applicants for Admissions to the institution, in accordance with State laws and accreditation regulations and consistent with the highest ethical standards.
The ideal candidate must be familiar with all aspects of the admissions process and will discuss topics such as program requirements, policies, and other admissions questions. The candidate will also be responsible for admissions, outreach, relationship building, and the creation of networking opportunities with teachers, counselors, students, and families in South Florida, Latin America and Caribbean. The candidate should be a dynamic communicator, with the ability to represent the NYFA in large-scale presentations, one-on-one appointments, college fairs, conferences, and various recruitment events; and must thrive in a fast-paced, demanding and creative atmosphere providing services to our diverse students from around the world. Time management, flexibility, meticulous organizational skills, and the ability to work independently as a motivated self-starter are all crucial for success in the position.
WORK SCHEDULE: Due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, this position is currently hybrid. At a later time/date, the position will be evaluated to determine if whoever is selected as the top candidate can continue to be work in a hybrid role, or if the candidate will need to report to the South Beach campus.
Work with South Beach Admissions Director to strengthen recruitment and conversion plans.
Travel when needed in support of recruitment goals.
Responsible for student admissions, enrollment, outreach, relationship building, and the creation of networking opportunities with teachers, counselors and families.
Coordinate, schedule, and attend school visits and identify untapped markets within a given territory.
Represent the New York Film Academy in presentations, one-on-one appointments, college fairs, conferences, and various recruitment events
Reach out to prospective students via phone, email, and text and guide through entire Admissions process and follow up as needed.
Work closely with financial aid, international student office and other departments as needed to help student through enrollment process.
CRM management: look through and update database daily
Conduct tours of the campus and discussion of top selling points for the program of interest
Assistance with on-campus recruitment events, off campus fairs and other NYFA duties as needed.
Facilitate the enrollment process for a student once interested in attending school, follow up. Work closely with the staff communicating student progress.
Introduce students to financial aid representative to secure financing for prospective student (i.e. federal financial aid)
Additional admissions job duties as assigned by Admissions Manager and senior management.
Meet departmental goals for booked appointments, interviews performed and overall performance

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND CERTIFICATION:
Bachelors Degree. Experience may substitute for required education up to four (4) years.
Experience in admissions recruitment or sales.
Experience working in a higher education or college setting.
Experience working in a fast pace, multi-tasking, results drive environment with attention to detail.
Valid passport & drivers license required.
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Suite Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Spanish or Portuguese, a plus.
