Summer Paid Intern - Social Media & Content

This is a Freelance Paid Internship

Position: Social Media & Content Resident
Location: Burbank, CA (Hybrid/In-Person)
Duration: July–September 2026 (Tentative)
Schedule: Approximately 15–20 hours per week

We are looking for someone who is excited about digital media, internet culture, and fandom content, and who is eager to gain hands-on experience working alongside a fast-paced creative team. The ideal candidate is organized, collaborative, internet-savvy, and enthusiastic about platforms like TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging social trends. Familiarity with fandom Ip like Marvel, Dc, Star Wars, gaming, and other genre entertainment is a major plus.

This is a paid, part-time residency based in Los Angeles. Candidates must be available to work in-office in Burbank 2-3 days per week. This opportunity is well-suited for students, recent graduates, aspiring creators, editors, and early-career media professionals looking to gain real-world experience in digital media and content production.
Working alongside content and operations teams, this role is designed to provide mentorship and real-world experience in digital media production, social strategy, content creation, and creator-focused operations.

Responsibilities and learning opportunities may include:
-Assisting with social media content creation and publishing
-Learning and supporting short-form video editing workflows
-Helping source clips, assets, and reference materials for content
-Assisting with content organization and upload preparation
-Monitoring platform trends, memes, and audience conversations
-Participating in brainstorms and creative development discussions
-Supporting day-to-day digital media operations as needed, including quality control and organizational tasks
-Assisting with content capture and coverage opportunities at industry events, screenings, conventions, and other company-related activities as available

The ideal candidate will also:
-Have familiarity with Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, Canva, CapCut, or similar editing software
-Be comfortable with and enthusiastic about social media platforms and content creation
-Be highly organized and detail-oriented
-Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
-Be proactive, collaborative, and eager to learn
-Have a strong understanding of internet culture and fandom communities
-Have reliable transportation and be comfortable attending occasional events and productions throughout the Los Angeles area

Outside of regular working hours, occasional flexibility may be requested during major entertainment releases, live events, conventions, screenings, and other special coverage opportunities. We hope to have this position hired by July with a tentative end date in September.
