Studio Assistant/Dub Room Engineer

Join our team of producers and composers at an award-winning full service music/sound/mix production company.

We are currently looking for a studio assistant / dub room engineer for our NYC studio location in Chelsea.

The role would focus on studio operations and support of production staff.

• Mixing music to picture for client presentation
• Assisting in record and mix sessions
• Maintaining, organizing, and tagging our internal library
• Assisting in creative library searches
• Editing video in Premiere Pro

Other daily tasks include:

• Opening and closing the studio
• Daily tidying of the studio and facilities
• Setting/resetting studio rooms for sessions and events
• Keeping storage and gear closets organized
• Going on runs for studio/client needs
• Researching materials for the studio
• Client services

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proficiency in logic pro x or protools
• Experience in video editing
• Highly organized, pays close attention to detail, and always stays
positive under pressure and tight deadlines
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to multi-task and prioritize while handling multiple projects at
once
• Eager to learn and able to adapt to changing schedules and responsibilities
