Internship Overview (Remote Position):
We are looking for a Project Management intern with startup experience and experience with working on 2-sided marketplace products. The Project Management internship role will be startup-focused and responsible for working with the Founder, Product Strategist, and key team members on assisting with executing our product strategy to ensure the development of our features is completed on schedule, it will also assist with managing software developer deliverables, and updating and maintaining our product roadmap and Trello boards. The role will be the communication and management thread across different areas of product development.
This role will have some PRODUCT Management elements to it as well but will focus on PROJECT management.
Our current stack is Github, React, Google Cloud, Firebase, Node.Js, and Python. This will be a paid role for candidates with some experience in this area.
This is a CPT, OPT, or school credit internship. We are looking for an immediate start date.
Responsibilities of the role:
Assess, update, and maintain our product roadmap and work with cross-functional teams.
Conduct technical deep dives for researching new and existing technologies.
Communicate with senior management and software engineers to push forward our features, near-term business value, and long-term product development.
Assisting with updating and maintaining cards in our task management platform, Trello.
Assisting with hiring/managing devs and interns.
Build trust and effective relationships with peers/cross-functional teams.
Assist with the development of user stories and features/functions that improve the user experience.
Our Desired Candidate Has the Following Qualities:
You have a working knowledge of MarTech products and/or the marketing industry.
Strong ability to translate product needs to technology and to understand technology.
Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong critical thinking, analytical, and data visualization skills skills.
Proficiency in using task management tools such as Trello and communication tools such as Slack.
The ability to conduct technical deep dives when researching new and existing technologies.
Comfortable with assuming ownership of tasks independently and working with stakeholders, managing workloads, and ensuring that deadlines are met.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
