With over 117 million members worldwide, growing our teams to meet the demands of our expanding business is critical to Netflix's success and goal of changing the way global audiences consume entertainment. The Talent Acquisition (TA) team plays a key partnership role to our business partners, as they continue to seek world-class professionals for each and every open position.
Netflix is looking for a Talent Acquisition Intelligence Analyst to join our TA team, partnering with internal teams to develop a deep understanding of our business, build insights around key talent pools for Marketing and PR, provide relevant industry intelligence, keep current on industry news and trends, and build relationships with passive talent. This role will partner directly with both the TA team and leaders across the business, with the goal of equipping both with better insights to expedite our recruitment efforts.
Responsibilities:
The way we promote and market our service and content is integral to the success of the business globally, so this individual will have a real and meaningful impact at Netflix. In this role, you will:
• Partner with the Marketing and PR TA team in designing and implementing effective research strategies to map out talent movement and talent trends across multiple functions and industries;
• Conduct research and collect data on competitors in the marketplace and create up-to-date organizational charts and talent maps;
• Prepare and present relevant insights that may impact recruitment efforts in certain markets or industries;
• Partner with researchers, recruiters, and business groups to build and maintain current and future candidate pipelines;
• Build relationships with passive talent for future roles, evaluating both functional capability and potential for culture fit;
• Conduct compensation benchmarking and compile concise compensation reports;
• Be the eyes and ears to industry news;
• Collect, collate, and input data into our Applicant Tracking System (Lever)
• Evaluate and streamline existing sourcing resources, to optimize accessibility across the Marketing/PR TA org;
• Support ad hoc projects like events or networking functions
The Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for a proactive and critical thinker with a passion for research and entertainment. The successful candidate will have the ability to process and synthesize complex information effectively and communicate in a concise manner. We need someone who is comfortable with ambiguity, as this is a new function in our organization. The role will be what you make it. You will get to figure out how to create maximum impact, and will play a huge role in defining what success looks like.
Requirements:
• BA/BS degree is required.
• Experience in the entertainment industry is preferred, but not required. That said, you have to be passionate about and interested in TV and film entertainment.
• Passion for research is vital. The successful candidate will deeply understand our business and desired profile, and be able to think broadly, beyond position title, to find world-class talent with the right skills and experience.
• The ability to make the leap from information to insight is key. To be successful you'll need to excel in not only gathering great data, but leveraging it to inform and influence decisions. We need you to connect the dots when others cannot.
• Ability to think about broad problems on macro level and move quickly to connecting those problems to actionable research and networking projects.
• Desire to be in a 'hands on' role, adding value at different levels. Strong on detail is a must.
• A natural inclination to work within a culture that is fast-paced, dynamic, and especially, autonomous. You'll have multiple projects going at once, so it's crucial that you have the ability to move quickly, prioritize effectively and pivot easily in the midst of frequent changes.
