This is a Full Time Job
The Production Technology & Operations team at Netflix ensures high-quality content delivery to our members globally. As a subject matter expert, you will be responsible for training, onboarding, and supporting post-production vendors in technical and operational workflows. You will create detailed strategies and resources, coach vendors, analyze/visualize delivery performance data, troubleshoot issues, and innovate processes to move toward operational excellence.
The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of post-production workflows and tools, including digital distribution, file-based workflows, and digital post-production. You must be able to troubleshoot technical errors within various video and audio formats, have experience collaborating with third-party vendors, and have a data-driven mindset. Strong coaching, mentoring, and teaching skills are necessary, along with creative problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset.
Role and Responsibilities:
• Be an expert in the technical and operational workflow and tools used to deliver high-quality content to Netflix (4K/UHD/HD, Dolby Vision/SDR, Dolby Atmos, 5.1 2.0 audio in an IMF format)
• Onboard and train show personnel and vendors on Netflix applications and workflows.
• Educate teams on technical specifications, workflows, and best practices.
• Create strategies and resources for delivery, quality control, and operational challenges for assigned region(s).
• Coach vendors to improve their delivery performance and meet expectations.
• Analyze and visualize delivery performance data and find ways to improve vendor and market efficiency.
• Be a point of contact for and troubleshoot technical and operational issues.
• Innovate and improve processes, documentation, and tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
• 8 years of experience in digital post-production tools and workflows for scripted film or scripted/unscripted television.
• Have a data-driven mindset and experience analyzing and visualizing data sets
• Fluency in English and French is a must
• Creative problem-solving skills
• Think strategically and consider both immediate and long-term business objectives.
• Organize and prioritize work effectively following set goals and strategies.
• Show interest in learning new technical workflows, standards, and tools.
• Experience coaching, mentoring, and teaching others to use new tools and workflows.
• Ability to work well under tight deadlines and ambiguous scenarios.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
