We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic marketing manager who can autonomously create groundbreaking 360 social marketing campaigns for our global and local originals, that will drive impactful organic owned and earned impressions and make our content ''the talk of the town''. The manager will be tapped into emerging platforms, aware of other successful campaigns, and will have a vision for success in a competitive landscape. As a member of our lean and agile team, the successful employee will be as comfortable firing off a humorous tweet as they are writing strategy and producing a major campaign from scratch for an original show.
The successful candidate will be comfortable taking the lead on campaigns, yet act selfless and be inclusive. To excel in this environment, you must be independently minded, have impeccable creative taste, and strong instinct for stories that will get people talking about Netflix and our shows passionately and frequently. The Senior Marketing Manager BENELUX will report to the Director Marketing BENELUX, NORDICS, CEE.
Key Responsibilities:
• Co-create and lead strong, integrated owned, earned, paid title brand campaigns including leading local extensions of global campaigns and working on special projects (stunts, guerrilla, content, digital innovation) to drive title brand awareness, word of mouth and fandom in BENELUX.
• Collaborate across functions with internal stakeholders and local agencies to increase title brand campaign impact.
• Position Netflix titles in an impactful way making them locally relevant and loved.
• Be a true fan of entertainment and Netflix content and infuse this fandom in every projects.
Requirements:
• Senior marketing experience in the local market (entertainment, motion pictures and film, tech or lifestyle consumer brands)
• Fluency in verbal and written Dutch and English. French is an extra benefit.
• A curious and creative mind, with experience in disruptive messaging and campaigns that generate social buzz to help Netflix establish and sustain meaningful connections with audiences across the Benelux
• Experience developing social marketing campaigns from scratch including creative positioning, audience identification, media strategy and launch roadmaps.
• Flexible and proactive. Ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously without the support of a large team and with an entrepreneurial mentality.
• Someone who can play with Netflix content and our brand to create impactful word of mouth within the right audience with the right message.
• Ability to lead, create and execute campaigns autonomously. Owning the relation with agencies and managing budgets.
• Capacity to continuously provide and receive constructive, actionable feedback to and from colleagues
• An adult. Someone who knows great freedom comes with great responsibility. Someone who is not afraid to take risks and is willing to own up to their mistakes.
