We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst, Participations to be a key member of the department that manages talent and partner reporting obligations for the growing owned original content business. In this role, your key responsibilities will be analyzing legal agreements to determine participation obligations. You will also be responsible for modeling ultimates, forecasting, and preparing participation statements and payments in an effective, efficient and timely manner.

About the role:
• Analyze legal agreements and interpret contingent compensation deal terms
• Model participation ultimates and cash flow
• Prepare participation statements in accordance with contractual agreements
• Document complex calculations, analyze legal agreements
• Provide deal guidance and advise on the financial impact of participations
• Support audit requests and research
• Respond to internal and external inquiries
• Contribute to participation system development, testing and implementation
Qualifications
• BA/BS in finance, economics or similar degree
• 5-7 years of related experience, preferably with participations, royalties, talent deal management, and/or content distribution
• Must have experience interpreting legal agreements and financial modeling of deal terms
• Must understand TV and Film distribution and international markets
• Strong analytical skills to identify issues and problem-solve effectively
• Flexible and comfortable with evolving processes, able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent Excel and Google web based program skills
• Great communication skills with people at all levels
• Passion for the Entertainment Industry
