The Regional Campaign PR Manager will partner with an array of stakeholders and play a critical role to partner on brand campaigns built to leverage multiple earned media channels, including broadcast, print, and non-owned digital channels. The candidate will have a strong editorial PR background and be able to create best practices, toolkits, educate and drive workstreams with the purpose to influence the future of how news is shared.
Reporting directly to the Director, Consumer PR- Asia, the Regional Campaign PR Manager will be a member of a seasoned group of professionals helping to formulate, execute and sustain a global communications strategy for Netflix in the Asia region. This individual will be key in building the Netflix brand and its service in Asia,
In addition, the Manager must:
• Have a keen understanding of the APAC press and influencer industry in order to build relevant regional campaigns
• Have experience working on global teams; experience working across APAC and knows the consumer media space
• Have played a leading role in managing big, long-term campaigns for major lifestyle brands
• Have experience promoting or launching TV shows, films or consumer products
• Understand the quickly changing way news and information is shared through digital platforms and social channels
• Be confident and creative in their writing, capable of crafting everything from executive messaging to consumer facing newsletters
• Be capable and confident in visual assets creation to drive messaging and storytelling
• Love brands, appreciate a good brief and understand what to do with a genuine insight
• Really loves entertainment... being a TV, movie or Netflix junkie is even better
Qualifications
• Have 10 years of experience working in-house, agency and/or client settings.
• Experience working at or with an agency is a must.
• Of particular interest are candidates who are used to working in a fast-paced environment that requires agility, selflessness and intense focus.
