The Role
The Series Coordinator, UCAN Publicity, will play a key role in supporting team members in the LA office. This position specifically will work across scripted and adult animated comedy series. We are looking for someone who is passionate about this type of content and excited by the evolving press landscape. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative team player, self-motivated, proactive, resourceful, flexible, and can juggle multiple and diverse responsibilities with a strong emphasis on organization and attention to detail. This candidate will be able to make wise decisions and exercise sound judgment even when faced with ambiguity. This demanding and fast-moving position requires someone with a positive attitude, takes the initiative, effectively prioritizes work, and demonstrates strong and clear communication skills.
Specific tasks will include but are not limited to:
The publicity coordinator is responsible for the majority of the daily logistical functions of the team, including, but not limited to: the upkeep of team documents, the booking of travel and glam for talent, working with personal talent reps, generating and maintaining talent schedules, compiling coverage reports and campaign recaps, day-to-day budget maintenance and invoice processing, as well as communication with reps, talent and showrunners/filmmakers where needed.
Qualifications:
• At least 1 year of communications-related experience in a studio, network, agency, brand, or similar organization.
• Passionate about the evolving entertainment landscape with a strong working knowledge of social platforms and trends.
• You are a clear and concise communicator that can effectively convey complex ideas written and verbally; ideally, you've practiced developing pitches, press-facing materials and/or social content in an academic or professional setting.
• Solid organizational skills, good judgment in the face of ambiguity, adept at multitasking.
• You're proactive and embody & promote our company values every day.
