Netflix is looking for a dynamic person to join our Production HR Team. The ideal candidate will be focused, detailed, and able to adapt in a fast-growing environment. In this role, the Production HR Coordinator will do the following:
Responsibilities:
• Initial HR point of contact for Post Production teams across all Film team verticals
• Coordinate and facilitate Respect @ Netflix training for various Film/Indies and Documentaries, Comedies, Unscripted, and Talk verticals
• Handle production-related inquiries regarding crew/cast concerns, field to Prod HR reps as necessary
• Serve as point of contact for EP Cares and production benefits questions, inquiries, and serve as primary liaison with EP as well as corporate Netflix Benefits
• Serve as point of contact for Production EAP (Employee Assistance Program)
• Conduct Production Kickoff and other production-facing meetings across all Series verticals
• Manage ER case tracking systems and generate reports (once launched)
• Using Airtable, track Respect @ Netflix training and generate reports, as needed
• Coordinate with internal teams for ACA and EEO-1 reports for production population, as well as other required reporting
• In partnership with Workers Comp, review injury reports, participate in the return to work process, and determine HR involvement
• Collaborate with Safety team to identify patterns, volume, and types of injuries on production, and develop proactive solutions
• Partner with Production Finance and Labor Relations to periodically audit/review timecards to ensure compliance with wage & hour laws; identify potential violations including, meal penalties, long hours, and O/T issues
• Manage the set-up of productions in anonymous hotline reporting system and monitor new/incoming cases
• Act as point of contact to ensure production offices have required employment posters and postings in multi-state/international jurisdictions
• Review i9s in ESN (electronic onboarding) to ensure technical compliance; follow up as necessary
• Point of contact for Production Accountant BG checks
• Partner with Film Production HR team to create presentation decks, charts, graphs, various materials as needed
Requirements
• Minimum of 4 years work experience in a Human Resources Generalist role
• Bachelor's degree or work-related equivalent
• Working knowledge of HR systems, benefits plans, and payroll processes preferred
• Attention to detail is a must
• Ability to work independently and also as part of a collaborative team
• High ethical standards with demonstrated experience handling highly sensitive and confidential information
• Experience working directly with television and/or film production a plus
• Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
• Strong computer skills
• Able to work effectively in an open, highly energetic environment
• Effective oral and written communication skills
