Full Time Job
We are seeking an experienced Production Executive to join the Physical Production team, based out of Rome. Responsibilities include production management of full series lifecycle (scripted and non-fiction), establishing and curating talent & staff/crew relations, reviewing budgets and supporting/suggesting best practices from pre-production through delivery. This position will report to the Director of Physical Production, EMEA Local Language Originals in Amsterdam.

The Role
A successful candidate will be passionate, self-motivated, proactive, quick-thinking, flexible, able to pivot when necessary, thorough and able to juggle multiple and diverse responsibilities.
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Production:
• Work with Creative, Finance, Legal, Post & Production Partners to establish production schedules and workflows and maximizing budget to spend as much on screen as possible
• Review creative/scripts and work with Executive Producers and Line Producers to prepare and vet show budgets and schedules, providing feedback internally and externally on viability and risks
• Collaborate with internal/external Finance teams to lock budget, and support in management of budget throughout production lifecycle
• Help ensure that productions run smoothly, meet deadlines and stay within budget
Staffing/Vendors/Talent:
• Assist with search and hire of key production staff and curating talent relationships
• Determine key talent to accommodate creative vision and relationships, budget needs, location issues
• Help maintain/curate preferred vendor list
Qualifications:
• 10 Years experience with production executive management
• This candidate should currently manage a slate of shows, have the title of Esecutivo di Produzione, Head of Production, or a senior title/position in Production Management
• Ability to handle a fast paced environment simultaneously supervising several projects in various points of production (from development through delivery)
• Familiar with the current trends and workflows for both HD and 4K, single cam and multi-cam
• Access to a robust roster of high quality vendors and talent in Italy
• Team-player who operates in a fast paced team-oriented setting
• Ability to be discrete and maintain confidential information
• Understanding of how to prioritize and respond accordingly
• Willingness to take educated risks and devise/suggest unorthodox approaches to problem solving.
• Willingness to continue learning to ensure understanding of current production process and innovative technologies/processes related to production management
• Fluent in Italian and English
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multi-task
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Movie Magic Budgeting, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides and Google Mail
