The Opportunity
This is a chance to join a dynamic, high performing team responsible for making Netflix's shows famous in the UK.
The PR Specialist will play a key role in the growing UK PR team who are responsible for driving positive conversation about our amazing titles. Tasks are varied, extensive and timely and one of the most important attributes is the ability to prioritise using effective judgment and run several projects at the same time. This role will be focussed on our large scale intellectual property content, with the opportunity to be flexible across a broad spectrum of content. The UK is home to some of Netflix's biggest global IP, including The Witcher universe and the Roald Dahl Story Company, with many more to come. The UK PR team works closely with creative talent, third parties and Netflix teams around the world to plan and implement publicity strategies and communications campaigns that bring these high-impact brands and unique universes to life in creative new ways.
The PR Specialist will work closely alongside the PR Manager, delivering innovative publicity campaigns across a wide UK media landscape, delivering great content, driving conversation and pushing creativity. The role will report to the PR Manager.
What Are Looking For:
• The successful candidate for the role will have 6 years of entertainment publicity
• Understand and execute stellar publicity campaigns.
• Experience handling high volume of complex projects and tasks for multiple people, departments and teams while simultaneously managing competing priorities.
• They will be a clear and concise communicator in a variety of media.
• Must possess solid organisational skills and be able to manage time effectively.
• Scrappy, resourceful and relentless in trying to find a solution and make wise decisions, even when faced with ambiguity.
• Able to pivot and adapt to shifting priorities without missing a beat
• Highly motivated, curious and eager to learn. Take risks, make mistakes and then explore what can be done differently or better the next time.
• Have a point of view, be collaborative and offer their unique perspective and voice.
• Poised, not scared to voice complex ideas to peers & leaders and are 'cool under fire' while managing a multitude of simultaneous tasks.
