The EMEA Talent Acquisition team is looking for a strong and seasoned leader to lead and continue building a team of recruiters and researchers working to hire top talent. At Netflix, we take a highly consultative recruitment approach, and TA maintains a seat at the table as a strategic advisor and partner to the business. We need a senior TA leader who will partner with leaders across different functions to build diverse, high-performing teams that will further fuel Netflix's growth in EMEA. We aren't a traditional KPI or metrics-based TA team, and focus rather on the caliber of hires and ultimately coaching hiring managers to become great recruiters themselves. We need someone who not only knows how to lead and inspire, but can attract and develop top recruiting talent that will thrive in our low process, fast-paced, non-metrics driven environment.
What you'll do
• Manage, lead and continue building a team of top-notch Recruiters and Recruiting Researchers.
• Partner with Director and VP level leadership to understand their business groups and provide strategic input around current and future staffing needs and organizational design.
• Maintain visibility into day to day workload of the team and facilitate conversations around effective load-balancing across the team to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
• Recruit. While you won't carry a full load of requisitions, you'll step in where the team needs you and be ready to recruit at all levels, but you'll most likely work on at least 5 highly niche roles.
• Empower the team behind the scenes. You'll provide the team with business context, support and tools that will allow them to make strong judgement calls on behalf of the teams they support.
• You'll be a part of a global TA leadership team, and will contribute and provide insight into challenges impacting the global organization.
Who you are
• A Talent Acquisition leader with a multi-year track record of managing and building TA teams.
• You lead inclusively, are highly curious about the world around you, and seek to understand how differences impact a team and can be used as an asset.
• You are passionate about coaching, leading and building diverse, collaborative and high performing teams.
• You believe that TA is a strategic business function, and not simply just a service. You add value to the business by coaching leaders on how to build teams thoughtfully, not just by executing on what's given to you.
• A recruiter. While you'll spend most of your time leading the team, you're also passionate about head-hunting and engaging and identifying best in class talent.
