We are Netflix's Social Marketing team. A team of storytellers, social media strategists, brand experts, editors, producers and journalists, all of us huge fans of entertainment. We're creating a whole new approach to talking about entertainment. We make content that celebrates our shows and talents and brings communities together over shared passions. Though part of the larger Marketing organization, our team's work is unique in that we express a perspective on content the way a media outlet would.

The Role:
We are looking to fill an integral role in the Nordics Social Marketing team for a Social Media Manager. This role will report to the Senior Social Marketing Manager and will be based in Sweden.
In this role, you will be a key contributor in managing and executing the social marketing strategy for various audiences across key social media platforms in the Nordics.
We're looking for a creative and strategic contributor with a strong voice, impeccable taste, and authentic love for entertainment and pop culture. Someone who's willing to be hands-on and manage creators and agency teams themselves out of pure passion for the craft. You will be responsible for ideation, concept development and production across our social media channels and beyond. You'll be curating title assets coming from our Title Marketing teams and creating recurring and unique content for our fans to talk about our Netflix Brand, Shows and Talents, and have a great skill for bringing these stories and narratives into the news cycle and social zeitgeist.
To be a successful Social Media Manager, you'll need to be a storyteller at heart and have excellent judgment to balance audience interests with the needs of our business. You'll ensure we stay true to our brand values, and for example make sure inclusion and diversity is reflected in our Tone of Voice.
You'll have a deep passion, appreciation, and understanding of TV, Film and entertainment broadly, with a depth and breadth of knowledge about the Nordics entertainment landscape and consumers as well as global trends.
You'll be trusted to have your finger on the pulse of online video consumption and to find ways to innovate in this field. You understand what captures people's attention and drives fandom and influence. As a fan, you are attuned to what sparks a connection between a show, film or star and its fandom. You live for that spark.
Key responsibilities:
• Execute and contribute to the Netflix Nordic Social Marketing strategy
• Grow and scale our audiences, communities and fandom
• Lead the social agency team and two TikTok managers separately
• Act as the lead producer on external productions such as a hosted series for one of our channels
• Oversee our content calendars, give creative notes and final approval
• Create content that gets written, shared, and talked about and builds credibility and relevance with local audiences
• Experiment and innovate with content, take risks with what you're creating; be ambitious and original
• Develop cross-functional relationships and partner with internal stakeholders, and for example collaborate with Title Marketeers who will be leading social campaigns for prioritized titles
We are looking for someone who:
• Has worked in content creation at a Publishing outlet for a minimum of 5 years or you have equivalent exposure to relevant projects
• Has a sophisticated understanding of social media and social analytics
• Experience in working across the biggest social platforms such as TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat
• Has impeccable editorial judgement and finds the story, angle and point of view to tell different stories
• Has a proven track record of building high-quality social and A/V content and world-class editorial formats, that connect consumers to entertainment brands and create a passionate following
• Navigates Pop Culture and have good intuition about what gets shared and talked about in our markets
• Is business-minded and a risk-taker entrepreneur with a high sense of responsibility
• Has the capacity to accomplish solid amounts in a fast-paced ever-changing environment
• Has worked with talents and understand the do's and don'ts of talent management
• Has experience using both data and intuition to create content that grabs attention and engages its audience. Solid understanding of marketing and social media analytics; you can apply a data-centric approach to the testing and optimization of content
• Is able to engage, listen and collaborate with internal departments/teams to align early on in terms of overall strategy and goals. A big idea isn't a big idea if you're doing it alone
• Has deep knowledge of the Nordic entertainment landscape, key opinion leaders and broader audiences
• Is a concise and clear communicator with written and oral communication skills in English and in at least one Nordic Language (Swedish, Danish, Norwegian or Finnish)
• Understand and respect Netflix culture
