The Manager of Residuals will be instrumental in leading a team in the Residuals department. In this role, your key responsibilities will be ensuring the team is successful in interpreting and analyzing legal and financial source documents to determine residual obligations in accordance with various guilds, unions and production service agreements, strategically aligning in support Labor Relations in guild discussions, and partnering with various departments to effectively and efficiently manage residual obligations. Lastly, you will be instrumental in building an internal Residuals System.

Responsibilities
• Manage a Residual team
• Partner with Legal & Labor Relations on Guild/Talent issues.
• Act as liaison with associated guilds by researching and responding to various written correspondence and oral inquiries pertaining to residual payments from the guilds, talent, and management while ensuring compliance with the Basic Agreements.
• Manage the forecasting, setting-up, paying and reporting of residual liabilities.
• Innovate in building an Internal Residual System.
• Participate in the testing and implementation process of new systems related to process improvements, efficiency, and standardization.
Qualifications
• BA/BS in accounting, finance, business administration or similar degree and or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Entertainment industry experience required.
• 10 years of related experience required, preferably in residuals.
• Residuals document review experience.
• Knowledge of residual guild agreements.
• Must be able to comprehend and interpret collective bargaining agreements.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent Excel, Microsoft Office & Google web based program skills.
• Highly motivated, analytical, proactive and self-sufficient.
• Ability to plan and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Must be able to work independently and team up with various divisions and departments.
• New Media residuals experience is a plus.
• Passion for the Entertainment Industry.
