We are looking for an experienced, highly-organized, and detail-oriented candidate to serve as the main liaison for regulatory compliance and litigation in our office in Seoul. As a legal manager, you will be responsible for processing inquiries from regulatory agencies and other types of consumer-related matters. You will perform legal administrative tasks and manage the flow of legal documents received to ensure that they reach the appropriate teams. Among other tasks, you will support the execution of contracts, obtain signatures, manage court appearances, maintain internal databases for litigation matters, and track outside counsel expenses. Although part of the regulatory compliance team, you will assist privacy, commercial, government relations, and other areas of Netflix legal, as needed.
Requirements:
• 5 years of paralegal/legal operations experience in a law firm and/or in-house in a technology or entertainment company;
• Superior organizational skills, extraordinary attention to detail, and a mindset that processes can always be improved;
• Solution-driven mindset and the ability to think practically, work independently with little guidance, but also to use good judgment to escalate issues when needed;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Korean (please apply in English)
• Prior experience drafting responses to issues raised by customers, customers' attorneys, and other government authorities;
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with peers, customers, attorneys and other parts of the business;
• Willingness to tackle new subjects outside area of expertise and take on special projects as the need arises;
• Flexibility and willingness to provide administrative support on a broad range of legal matters;

Responsibilities:
• Engage, manage, and work closely with outside counsel to gather documentation and review responses to legal inquiries
• Maintain and update internal documentation including case-specific documents, as well as summaries of legal research;
• Serve as legal resource for internal Customer Service teams;
• Log, research, and respond to issues raised by customers, customers' attorneys, and other authorities;
• Summarize/translate legal documents (letters, as needed);
• Perform various administrative tasks and backup support for general litigation, regulatory, corporate, marketing, business development, privacy teams, as needed;
