We are seeking an International Tax Manager to join our dynamic Tax Operations Team. As a pivotal member of our team, you will have the chance to design and implement tax reporting strategies, disrupt and challenge existing workflow, collaborate with our tax planning and tax policy teams to shape new reporting tax frameworks around the globe. • Lead the US international tax compliance engagement, including collaboration with cross-functional teams and outside tax advisers.
• Perform complex US international tax technical analysis and channel the analytical prowess of ''Mindhunter'' to craft memorandums that support Netflix's strategic tax filing positions.
• Champion the US international tax forecasting effort to provide insights and trends related to Netflix's business strategies and global tax developments.
• Collaborate with our tax planning team on the disclosure and reporting aspect of M&A integration and tax planning initiatives.
• Partner with our tax technology team and data science engineers to transform tax data analytics capabilities, bringing a touch of ''Altered Carbon'' futuristic innovation to disrupt conventional tax operations workflows.
• Monitor emerging tax regulations, legislative changes and industry trends and proactively liaise with our global tax controversy team to assess potential impacts on Netflix's reporting strategies and tax controversy risks.
• Be a thought leader on US international tax operation matters, offering guidance and mentorship to the team and cross-functional partners.

Qualifications:

• You embrace and advocate the Netflix culture and our long-term view.
• 10-12 years combined public accounting and/or corporate experience with emphasis on US international tax reporting and compliance (technology or entertainment industry experience is a plus).
• Experience in conveying complex international tax issues, tax accounting issues, and related implications on the Company.
• Experience with tax software such as OneSource.
• Advanced computer software skills, including Google suite of applications (Sheets, Docs, Slides), Excel, and Alteryx.
• Experience in identifying tax process automation opportunities and providing technology solutions.
• Intricate ''Queen 's Gambit'''s puzzle-solving skills coupled with the ability to apply good judgment to make sound decisions in a timely manner.
• Growth mindset with the ability to learn, change and adapt quickly.

The overall market range for roles in this area of Netflix is typically $220,000 - $385,000.
