The Role
We're on the hunt for a passionate and talented finance and accounting manager who would be part of our international finance team located in Amsterdam that will be responsible for the various finance obligations of Netflix's operations in EMEA. This person will work with the various finance teams internationally to optimize the overall finance operations and processes in terms of accounting, compliance and reporting. This means in practice that the manager will be responsible for statutory filing requirements, statutory audits and providing IFRS and local GAAP perspectives on global projects. This role is positioned for growth as our business scales up.
The ideal candidate is a strong fit with the Netflix culture, can collaborate well across the organization and has a hands-on mentality.

• Flexible to collaborate with Netflix teams across multiple offices and timezones
• Willing to travel to our offices overseas
Education and Experience
• 10 years of relevant accounting and finance experience
• A combination of public accounting experience and in-house experience is preferred
• Bachelor / Academic degree in accounting or business economics and completed a postgraduate degree RA/CA/CPA or equivalent
• Demonstrated ability to innovate and optimise workflows and processes
• Experience in efficiently working in a multinational environment and working with service providers
• Experience in managing / building teams
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP and local GAAP in EMEA countries
• Strong experience with preparing statutory filing documentation for international entities and leading / managing statutory audits
• Experience with Workday Financials or other cloud based ERP systems is a plus
• Systems and automation experience a plus
• Experience in the entertainment / tech industry is a plus
• Fluent in English, other languages are helpful
