The opportunity
We are looking for a quick-thinking, highly-organized analyst with strong judgment, and a ''hands-on'' attitude to join our legal team. The ideal candidate is a problem solver who understands operations and welcomes the opportunity to be part of a fast-paced organization that values high performance. Though part of the Legal Team, being an attorney is not a requirement for this role.
Requirements:
• Analyze and accurately respond to a high volume of time-sensitive consumer claims and law enforcement requests in accordance with applicable laws and our terms of service, while upholding Netflix's strong commitment to member privacy;
• Organize, log, and maintain accurate data regarding the volume and types of consumer claims for reporting purposes (including high level presentations) and to drive product and customer experience improvements;
• Work closely with engineering teams across the company to help build and test relevant tools;
• Create and maintain internal documentation regarding the team's policies and procedures;
• Act as legal liaison and partner with the CS teams to investigate, get insights, and draft responses to legally sensitive consumer complaints;
Responsibilities:
• 4 years of legal operations experience in a law firm, and/or in-house company in Brazil;
• Superior organizational skills, extraordinary attention to detail, and a mindset that processes can always be improved or eliminated if no longer relevant;
• Ability to work proactively, independently and reliably under tight schedules in a very fast-paced environment, with competing priorities;
• Ability to maintain a positive, constructive attitude in ambiguous and high pressure situations and to manage complex issues in a productive manner;
• Excellent communication skills, including patience and an ability to explain legal requirements clearly and effectively to a non-legal audience;
• Solution-driven mindset and the ability to think practically, work independently with little guidance, but also to use good judgment to escalate issues when needed;
• Strong project management skills with a track record of consistently going above and beyond what is expected and delivering projects on schedule;
• High level of intellectual curiosity and exhibit the highest personal and professional standards of integrity and ethics;
• Fluency in English is a requirement for this role;
