HR Business Partner, Manager - APAC
Full Time Job
Netflix is recruiting for a Human Resources Business Partner to join our team in Singapore. Netflix is the world's leading internet entertainment service with 125 million memberships in over 190 countries enjoying TV series, documentaries and feature films across a wide variety of genres and languages. Members can watch as much as they want, anytime, anywhere, on any internet-connected screen. Members can play, pause and resume watching, all without commercials or commitments.
This position will be a business partner to several of our teams based in Singapore and will also drive pan-regional initiatives to help us scale effectively in the region. We are in the early stages of growth in Asia and our teams in Singapore represent a broad-section of functions, all working towards helping our consumers in Asia access and experience great storytelling.
The Ideal Candidate
In this role, leading, demonstrating, redefining and modeling the Netflix culture is top priority. The ideal candidate will have a collaborative leadership style with the ability to influence others into action and to think creatively about solutions. The right person for this role must have a passion for the business and be driven to accomplish and meet objectives. This position is responsible for providing wise counsel (not HR best practices for HR sake) to the business and successfully influencing and supporting strategies to meet our business objectives. He/She will embody our culture through their behavior and interactions and be willing to invite and promote constructive feedback.
This position requires a minimum of 8 years of progressive human resources experience in the media/tech industry, ideally as an HR Business Partner. This person should have well developed coaching, communication, and leadership skills and should provide an example of excellence to all that he/she interacts with. Having successfully coached and influenced individual contributors and managers is a must for this position. A background in organizational development and previous experience with talent acquisition is also a plus.
