We are looking for a Financial Analyst, Participations to be a key member of the department that manages talent and partner reporting obligations for the growing original content business. In this role, your key responsibilities will be interpreting and analyzing legal agreements to determine participation obligations, as well as calculating and preparing participation statements and payments in an accurate and efficient manner. A successful candidate is a self-starter who can collaborate cross-functionally throughout the organization.

About the role:
• Analyze legal agreements and interpret contingent compensation deal terms
• Prepare participation and royalty statements based on contractual terms
• Research and prepare reconciliations and analysis of financial data
• Provide support and document complex calculations
• Collect vendor setup information and issue payments
• Respond to internal and external inquiries
• Contribute to participation system development, testing and implementation
Qualifications
• BA/BS in accounting, finance, economics, business administration or similar degree
• 3-5 years of related experience, preferably with participations, royalties, consumer products and/or talent deal management
• Must have experience reading and interpreting legal agreements
• Strong statement preparation background
• Strong analytical skills to identify issues and problem-solve effectively
• Great written and verbal communication skills with business partners at all levels
• Excellent Excel and Google web based program skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage large volumes of data
• Flexible and comfortable with evolving processes
• Passion for the Entertainment Industry
