We are seeking a Paris-based Executive Assistant to support our Director Public Policy France and VP, PR & Corporate Communications.
We need someone who is able to appropriately handle the many (and often demanding) requests we get from external stakeholders (policymakers, journalists etc.) and to help determine priority matters of attention for the Director Public Policy France and the VP, PR & Corporate Communications. Someone who is curious, demonstrates significant initiative, and inherently exercises good judgment regarding time-sensitive and priority issues, ensuring appropriate follow-up which will help to thrive both in the role and at Netflix. Someone who can not only be great in their day to day work, but can identify opportunities to make us more organized and efficient.
The successful candidate will be proactive, flexible, and able to juggle multiple and diverse responsibilities with unwavering attention to detail at all times.
Key responsibilities:
• Work directly with Director Public Policy France and VP, PR & Corporate comms to support all aspects of the daily work routine.
• Maintain the calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments, speaking engagements, and travel (may include domestic and international) arrangements. Exercise discretion in committing time and evaluating needs.
• Coordinate work with other teams as needed; play a key role in the coordination of team efforts both internally and externally.
• Schedule team meetings; assist in the preparation and distribution of meeting agendas and materials.
• Prepare documents, reports, tables and charts; distribute as appropriate.
• Prepare, reconcile, and submit expense reports.
• Attend meetings and take notes of discussion; prepare the initial draft of minutes and summaries.
• Organize and manage various internal events/off-sites both planned and last minute requested.
Qualifications:
• At least 5 years of working experience as an executive or personal assistant supporting multiple executives
• Previous experience working in an international environment is a plus
• Team-player who operates in a fast-paced team-oriented setting
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multitask
• Ability to be discrete and maintain confidential information
• Understanding of how to prioritize and respond accordingly
• Proficiency in Google Mail & Apps is preferred
• Strong interest in our business is necessary
• Language - French native, English - proficient
