Full Time Job
The Role
The Events Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the growing Awards team, working cross functionally with various departments at Netflix across key EMEA film festivals and awards.
Tasks are varied, extensive and timely. They will include but are not limited to: working with coordinators across the department to put in place a set of best practices that enable us to move quicker, bigger and better; supporting awards, festivals, and various other event activations; coordinating with outside agencies and vendors to track contracts and ensure timely payment; assisting with meeting schedules and facilitation, including help putting together presentations and coordinating audiovisual needs; updating various lists, documents and charts on the department's google drive; helping to coordinate the invite process; trafficking creative and screening asset requests; keeping an eye on the ever-changing events landscape industry-wide, and other duties as assigned.
The Events Coordinator, Awards EMEA will report into the Events Manager, Awards EMEA.

Qualifications
We are looking for a team member who is not afraid to get their hands dirty and is eager and curious to dive into the work. He/she will be able to communicate with a wide array of outside parties including but not limited to filmmakers, talent representatives, agencies, vendors, festival programmers and event leads to streamline communications and ensure the best possible representation of Netflix. They will be able to communicate confidently and effectively on an international level with partners from across the region and globally.
The ideal candidate has experience within the film or television industry in some way in the past.
She/he is organized, thorough and able to use their judgement to prioritise and juggle multiple projects at once. They are proactive and a sound thinker who can maturely approach challenges and obstacles.
The successful candidate for Events Coordinator, Awards EMEA will have 3 years of entertainment experience either in a studio, network or agency setting.
