Netflix is recruiting for a seasoned Director of HR to join our team in the London office to support our rapidly growing UK teams. The focus of this role is to assess, coach and influence the business as we scale and evolve to enable our teams to accomplish amazing things. The Director will be to partner with several of our leaders based in EMEA and also remain closely connected with the HR team in the HQ in Amsterdam.

The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and thoughtful leader with a collaborative and influential leadership style, the ability to inspire others into action and to think creatively about solutions. The right person for this role must have comfort with ambiguity, and able to make quick, well-informed decisions. She/he will exude curiosity about our business and have a proven track record of rapid self-learning. The right person for this role must have a passion for the business and be driven to accomplish and meet objectives. This position is responsible for providing wise counsel (not HR best practices for HR sake) to the business and successfully influencing and supporting strategies to meet our business objectives.
This position requires a solid progressive and senior human resources experience in the entertainment industry internationally, as an HR Business Partner/HR Director.
This person should have well-developed coaching, communication, and leadership skills and should provide an example of excellence to all that he/she interacts with. Having successfully coached and influenced individual contributors and managers is a must for this position.
A background in organizational development and previous experience in L&D is also a plus.
