The Original Independent Film Post Production team seeks a Post Production Coordinator to join our fast paced, growing team as we continue to make some of the best films in Hollywood. In concert with our Post Production Manager, the Post Coordinator serves as the primary post production contact across pre-production, production and post production to ensure partners successfully deliver films to Netflix.
The Post Coordinator will assist the Post Manager in the vetting of initial production and post production plans, communicate with Content Executives (and other teams) and keep them abreast of any post production related issues. The role seeks someone who will champion evolving technologies and determine how to incorporate them into production and post production workflows. You would coordinate the onboarding process for production companies, freelance producers and production crews to the Netflix ecosystem, tools and resources, while serving as a bridge between productions and internal Netflix teams to ensure both sides receive pertinent updates in a timely manner and work to ensure that films are successfully delivered and positioned for success. This is a demanding and fast moving position that requires someone who is a proactive and positive thinker, and able to exercise good judgment and communication.
Additional Responsibilities:
• Pix Dailies and Cuts onboarding, administration and support
• Post Asset Coordination for Netflix cross functional teams
• Data aggregation - Post Schedules, Post Info, Personnel/Facility - into the Netflix ecosystem and streamline digital workflows
• Set Post and Dailies Workflow calls, and other show calls
• Coordinate internal/external screenings and creation/transfer of necessary assets
• Setup/attend DCP QC sessions for screenings/festivals/archival as needed
• Distribution of technical docs, guidelines to post teams
Qualifications:
• 5 years hands on experience in feature film or television post production
• A passion for film
• Ability to handle a fast paced environment
• Familiar with current trends and workflows, including 4K and HDR, as well as an eagerness to learn new technologies
• Understanding of media file types and film deliverables
• Team player who operates in a fast paced team oriented setting
• Ability to be discrete and maintain confidential information
• Understanding of how to prioritize and respond accordingly
• Willingness to continue learning to ensure understanding of current production process
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to multitask
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace and Pix. Familiarity with Movie Magic Budgeting a plus
• BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience

The overall market range for roles in this area of Netflix is typically $55,000 - $305,000
