Full Time Job
The Post Partnerships & Integrations (PPI) team at Netflix sits at the crossroads of the creative post community. Our mission is to improve creative tools and workflows (in particular, the processes for creating and delivering in the best available technical formats) so that artists spend more of their time on creative work, and less time on the non-creative tasks. To do this, we partner closely with Netflix internal post management, creative post facilities, and the companies who make the tools and technologies they use every day to acquire, manage and deliver image data, sound data, and metadata.
This is a partnership role with a heavy external focus. You will regularly interface with, and influence the activities of partners in the Netflix Post Technology Alliance.
Because Netflix is leading the charge on new standards (like IMF) and new creative formats (like 4K, HDR, and immersive audio), we place a high value on helping our technology partners build technologies that enable the studio of tomorrow.
As a coordinator for Technology Engagements & Standards, you will help the team get better at tracking and managing commitments between Netflix and our technology partners.
This will include:
• Communication: you will represent Netflix to our partners in a variety of contexts. Your ability to listen, understand, and to distill complex information into simple messages (and verify the message was received as intended) is vital in this role. You will implement ways to share information between partners and the broader Netflix post org, and help us stay informed of the evolving post technology landscape.
• Tracking and managing multiple partner efforts: to build better post workflows, we share a lot of info with our partners and ask a lot of them. You will implement ways to track the things we request of partners (and what they request of us) across a number of partnerships. You will assist the PPI outreach team with event planning and partner activations related to training, engagement, and recognition for the creative post community.
• Data: you will leverage existing data sources, and identify new needs for data and metrics to help the team better uss data to inform decisions. You will implement ways for the team to aggregate information about tools and technologies, partner roadmaps.

• A BA/BS Degree
• 3 years of work experience managing projects (ideally creative tools or software)
• Post Production experience (video post, audio post, VFX, or dubbing)
