The Leadership Programs team @ Netflix designs and delivers deep-dive multi-day seminars for Directors, VPs and RStaff. These annual retreats give our leaders the rare opportunity to step away from the day-to-day of operations to explore their leadership values and to build the muscles to apply these values as the company grows. We want to develop great leaders and great human beings. We don't teach leadership skills or discuss business strategy. Instead, we spark open, honest conversations that help our leaders learn from one another and build deep, cross-functional relationships.
We're looking for a coordinator based in our Los Angeles office to join this team. The ideal person is adaptive, able to and energized about taking on many things at once, and has amazing organizational and prioritization skills. The ideal person will also be able to see the bigger picture of our mission, will be passionate about that mission, and will constantly be trying to improve their day-to-day duties to help us achieve the mission. Those day-to-day duties mainly consist of planning and executing our leadership seminars, and programmatic operations such as information management, participant registration and engagement, and curriculum support.
What you'll do:
• Plan 22-25 leadership seminars and execute event logistics onsite
• Coordinate with venue/conference staff and some cross-functional teams at Netflix
• Liaise with seminar moderators and leadership programs manager
• Process all post-event finances
• Maintain materials needed for leadership seminars
• Aid programmatic workflows such as curriculum development, seminar registration, and reporting on metrics
• Other duties as assigned
Who you are:
• At least 2-3 years work experience
• Substantial experience in event logistics
• Excellent interpersonal skills, energy, and initiative
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to multitask with meticulous attention to detail
• Adaptive and resourceful by nature
• Proactive and able to anticipate problems
• Poised, willing to speak up, and mature
• Dedication to and demonstrable embodiment of Netflix culture
• Sensitivity to working with others from different cultures and backgrounds
• Good judgement and discretion
• Comfortability with regular domestic travel to seminar sites and long days during events
• Proficiency with Google applications and Salesforce
• Energized about the big picture goals of the Leadership Programs team
• International experience a plus - time spent living or working outside of the U.S.
