She/He must be an independent thinker and a self-starter with the ability for innovation and new ideas. Of particular interest are candidates with backgrounds in the entertainment and technology sectors and those who are used to working in a fast-paced environment that requires agility, selflessness and the ability to manage multiple things at once.
The candidate must:
• The candidate should possess at least 8 to10 years of experience in communications.
• Have good business acumen, preferably with experience of working for global brands.
• Have excellent news judgement.
• Have - or is able to build - a strong network of relationships with journalists and influencers.
• Familiar with, and/or enthusiastically curious about the entertainment sector, technology, innovation and media.
• Has a strong bias-to-action, adept and agile on changing course and getting things done on short timeframes.
• Be a succinct communicator in a 'hands on' role, detailed and and highly-organized.
The Netflix culture attracts talent who exhibit good judgment, innovation, selflessness, courage, impact, candid communication, passion and curiosity. Read our blog and culture memo. If it resonates for you, maybe you're the right person to join our team.
