We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Manager. As the Manager, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing strategic marketing campaigns for our film releases. Your passion for Cinema, love of marketing, obsession with detail, and boundless creativity will be key in driving the success of our films.
Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000
Location: Either New York, NY or Los Angeles, CA
Responsibilities:
• Assist in the creation and execution of marketing plans, including advertising, media buying, digital marketing, social media, and promotional events.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including PR, Theatrical, Finance, and Legal to ensure effective marketing campaigns from pre-production to post-release.
• Assist within marketing, cross-functional teams, and external vendors to manage creative materials flow and requests.
• Monitor and analyze campaign performance, using data-driven insights to optimize marketing strategies and tactics.
• Schedule departmental meetings, create departmental agendas, record notes, and update overall release agendas with key updates from the marketing team.
• Work with Creative and Social teams to capture content at festivals, press days, premieres, Q&As etc. to be used across social channels.
• Monitor online sentiment around upcoming releases, and propose how to engage with that sentiment in the voice of our brand.
• Establish and manage relationships with external partners, agencies, vendors, and influencers to enhance brand visibility and partnerships.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify target audiences, market trends, and opportunities for innovative marketing approaches.
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging marketing platforms, and recommend innovative strategies to stay ahead in the market.
• Identifying opportunities to tie library titles into current digital trends.
• Track potential digital partners and influencers/content creators aligned with the mission of our brand.
• Track creative and finishing costs across all marketing materials for departmental budgeting, and process invoices.
• Help manage marketing budgets and vendor payments
• Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards in all marketing activities, including advertising regulations and data privacy laws.
Qualifications:
• A relentless and obsessive love for all things Cinema.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• Proven experience (at least 3 years) in marketing roles within the film, entertainment, or media industry.
• Demonstrated success in developing and executing comprehensive marketing campaigns, preferably for film releases.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities, with experience in cross-functional engagement and collaboration
• Excellent understanding of marketing principles, and strategies.
• Comprehensive understanding of the film industry's competitive set, audience preferences, and market dynamics.
• Solid knowledge of digital marketing channels, social media platforms, and emerging marketing trends.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools to measure campaign performance and optimize marketing strategies.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
