College Ambassador Intern Program - FALL 2023

NEON is seeking an outgoing and passionate college student to serve as an on-campus representative for NEON for the Fall 2023 Semester (August 2023- December 2023). This role will be part of our marketing program and you would work collaboratively with the NEON team and our campus reps at colleges across the country to organize and plan a variety of outreach, marketing, and publicity efforts for upcoming NEON film releases. Those selected for this program will receive hands-on experience working in film marketing and promotions, as well as the opportunity to gain valuable film distribution experience and connections.

Our ideal candidate is creative, outgoing, and passionate about cinema, specifically NEON movies. You are engaged in your campus community and an active member or leader of a student club or organization. This position also requires knowledge and experience with social media tools including: Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, etc., as well as strong written and verbal communication skills.

Job Responsibilities Include:

• Design and implement a marketing campaign for your campus that focuses on promotions and publicity
• Organize advance NEON screenings for students to platform upcoming movies as well as themed watch parties for older NEON titles
• Secure film features, interviews, reviews or promotional support such as ticket giveaways
• Manage social media accounts to reach new audiences
• Research relevant student groups and establish NEON relationships with student organizations
• Coordinate on-campus outreach and promotional activities for NEON including on-campus tabling, and distributing flyers and swag
• Manage check-in tables for events at local theaters and visit local theaters to inventory marketing materials
• Organize and execute guerrilla marketing stunts on campus to spread buzz or awareness about upcoming NEON movies
• Spearhead outreach ideas and local research for events and promotion of NEON on campus and within the community

Requirements:

• Current undergraduate student (rising sophomore, junior, or senior) on campus for the entirety of the school year 2023-24
• Creative self-starter
• Strong communication and writing skills
• Must love film

5-10 hours per week, hourly commitment varies. This position pays $17.00/hr.
Ambassadors will work from the location of their university.
