This position is on a contract/freelance basis, with a view of extending to a permanent position.
We are looking for an Associate Producer to support the VP of Creative and VP of Production across both production management and associate producer tasks.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5+ years experience working for a boutique production studio and will have worked on high-production-value content for film, TV, branded content, commercial, etc. We are looking for someone who is exceptionally organized and can provide support to the VPs of Production and Creative by seamlessly shifting between production management and content/creative support.

Key duties include:
-Maintaining an organized, efficient, and streamlined studio system in collaboration with the Studio Manager
-Improving, expanding, and managing the studio's production contact list across all necessary fields
-Creating pre-, filming, and post-production schedules
-Researching concepts, topics, talent, and competitors' output to assist in development
-Assisting in the creation of pitch decks and treatments
-Sourcing relevant, compelling imagery and visual references in compliance with the studio's commitment to quality
-Budgeting, scheduling, administrative, and production management support
-Generating call sheets and booking talent, crew, and resources
-Managing in-house and rental film equipment
-Coordinating paperwork, contracts, invoice logs, and receipt reconciliation
-Maintaining content for our website, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Vimeo platforms
-Submitting content to awards and festivals
-Ability to keep calm under pressure and deal sensitively and confidently with a range of contacts both within and outside NBTV
-Ability to interact professionally and efficiently with internal and external stakeholders, clients, partners, crew and talent
-Ability to re-organize workload to meet shifting deadlines and targets
-Innate ability to know when to take initiative and when to ask for guidance to deliver often multiple conflicting deadlines
-Achieving maximum productivity and the ability to prioritize a heavy workload without supervision
-Maintaining positive and streamlined relationships with our suppliers
-Providing a keen eye for detail
-Exceptional written and oral skills

Required experience:
-3-5+ years experience in a similar capacity for a boutique production studio, TV, or film company
-Demonstrable track record of involvement in high-quality video and film content
-Thorough knowledge of industry-standard production systems and procedures
-Excellent computer skills, across Mac, MS Office, Photoshop, InDesign, Keynote, Adobe Media Encoder, Adobe CC, and any other production-related software
-Candidates must be a US citizen or have a valid US visa to be considered for this role.
