Search for Warehouse Worker - TV Lighting jobs in Long Island City-NY
The Warehouse Worker is responsible for the daily operations in working with NBCU's feature-films and episodic TV productions. The Warehouse Worker will build custom rental orders in the department operating system, RTPro, for Set Lighting and Grip Departments. In addition to creating orders, the Warehouse Worker is also responsible for maintaining and upkeeping the rental equipment, as well as the day-to-day demands from productions and production crews. Additional responsibilities include maintaining rental equipment to ensure inventory is performing in the best possible condition to keep up with productions demands. The role also maintains close relationships with production representatives to analyze and make decisions relating to the production. The position reports to the Operations Manager.
What You'll Do…
• Ensure that all equipment is ready for rental
• Identify equipment that needs maintenance or needs to be sent out for repair
• Ensure all orders have been pulled and prepped properly for production crews
• Anticipate equipment shortages and stay on top of the equipment in high demand
• Stay on top of productions needs and orders
• Time manages the flow of the equipment coming in and going out
• Maintain shop cleanliness & organization
• Pickup and delivery of equipment
Qualifications/Requirements
What You Have…
• Excellent oral and written communication skills required
• Minimum 2 years' experience in managing timing of production schedules
• Minimum 1 year experience in the Film/Television industry
• Must be able to lift heavy equipment
• Must be willing to work on-site (no remote)

• Proven experience and knowledge of Set Lighting and Grip equipment is an asset
• Working knowledge of Inventory Tracking System: RTPro
• Ability to develop strong relationships
• Ability to promote a positive work environment and problem solve
