Sr. Producer, E! News Digital Production
Responsibilities
To collaborate with internal and external teams in the creative development and production of digital news segments, series, and livestreamsResponsibilities:
• Oversee development and production for 10-15 pieces of content per day, 7 days a week
• Manage full-time and/or temporary staff of Producers, APs, and/or PAs, when applicable
• Oversee scheduling of personnel each week
• Collaborate with department heads across E! News to optimize content on E!'s various platforms
• Assign content pieces to Producers, as needed
• Provide constructive criticism to Producers and Editors related to segments and scripts
• Innovate using new producing techniques and approaches to stay ahead of the ever-changing digital media landscape
• Troubleshoot edit/production issues
• Pitch innovative multiplatform video content ideas
• Produce branded content, as needed
• Juggle multiple projects with parallel timelines
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree
• 4 years production experience in related field
• Strong writing skills and video content production background (Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, OBS, etc.)
Desired Characteristics
• Thorough understanding of the digital content space and the challenging dynamics behind it
• Video production and live-streaming experience
• Thorough acumen of how users consume content on various platforms (YouTube, Twitter, TikTok, Snapchat, Twitch, etc.)
• Must be detail-oriented and have strong managerial, organizational and communication skills
• Ability to interpret view analytics to make informative content decisions
• Expansive pop culture and entertainment/celebrity knowledge a must
• Willingness to maintain a flexible schedule and willingness to work overtime and on weekends with short notice when necessary
• A digitally focused multi-faceted storyteller who can pitch, write, shoot, and edit. Candidate must know how to find a story, identify a unique angle with an E! point of view, tell the story in a way that captures our audience and relates to them, and is informative, humorous, and/or inspirational.
