This is a Full Time Job
The Senior Director, Integrated Communications, will support integrated communications and brand strategy for the Universal Television Entertainment Group team.
Responsibilities:
• Partnering with EVP, Integrated Communications to develop and execute a comprehensive, year long events strategy in collaboration with the marketing team. Leverage existing opportunities and create original events that support B2B initiatives, enhance series campaigns and align with overarching corporate objectives.
• Lead and develop multi-title strategies and campaigns that support franchise portfolio goals and seasonal opportunities. Ensure key brand messaging through earned media.
• Proactively pitch and secure media coverage for both consumer and trade press for tentpole multi-title campaigns (ie: Jaws 50) targeting local market and national press to maximize visibility.
• Collaborate with single title publicists to manage media relations and oversee external press agencies or consultants as needed. Ensure strategic media coverage for multi-title efforts, such as junkets, festivals and fan conventions, driving strong earned media ROI.
• Oversight of monthly content newsletter inclusive of portfolio programming and external facing communications featuring of UTEGs broader content slate, including bespoke communications for integrated communications priorities.
• Work closely with teams responsible for content capture, influencers, social media and activations to deliver big ideas that can cut through culture.
Support broader UTEG communication and publicities team through:
• Supporting overall media relations management across the portfolio, including updating and leveraging a system to streamline outreach and improve coverage opportunities.
• Supporting multi-title campaigns and media relations for multi-title junket efforts.
• Socializing competitive intelligence and evolving trends, with an eye on opportunities and maximizing brand influence.
• Lead and remain responsible for external facing slate/portfolio communications including monthly newsletter, weekly screener distribution and long lead planning materials to press.
• Oversee seasonal preview outreach for UTEG slate.
• Responsible for acquisition title campaigns.
• Partnering with Operations and key stakeholders to ensure our press site continues to meet the evolving needs of our media partners.
• Tracking communications performance using analytics tools to measure the impact of campaigns and to strategize data-driven adjustments.
• Working closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, corporate communications, publicity and events to ensure alignment and coordinated efforts.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in entertainment public relations or media relations and/or communications.

• Demonstrated success in devising and executing campaign strategies for maximum marketplace visibility.
• Collaborative and creative with an eye towards first to market executions, pushing for innovation, and managing priorities; willing to go outside the box of traditional press activities.
• Strong track record of experience interacting and working with multiple stakeholders and partnering collaboratively with consumer insights, product, partnerships, and brand marketing teams.

Additional Requirements:
• Must be willing to work in New York, NY
• Must have work authorization to work in the United States
• Willingness to work outside of normal business hours and on weekends with short notice
• Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

Salary range: $140,000 - $185,000 (bonus and long-term incentive eligible)
