RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop, implement and direct global mobility functions to support Universal Parks & Resorts' (UPR) worldwide expansion activities. Advise management on compensation, expatriate benefits, immigration issues and talent retention programs. Construct a team of global mobility services experts consisting of UPR team members, and top tier global mobility vendors & consultants.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Design, implement and manage global mobility policies, practices and procedures for simultaneously handling several hundred foreign assignments as expatriates, inpatriates, local nationals or third-country nationals.
• Utilize internal, external and expert vendors and sources to seamlessly deliver global mobility services for UPR. Services include strategies, policies and services for:
• Global Taxes.
• Global relocation.
• Expatriate Compensation and Benefits.
• Immigration.
• Allowances, including when to use them and what limits to apply.
• Per diem reimbursements.
• Educational opportunities.
• Develop and manage training in:
• Languages.
• Culture.
• History.
for all global assignments, and as necessary, families.
• Partner with domestic and international outside tax and legal counsel and cultural experts and consultants.
• Develop process for evaluating and updating costs associated with foreign assignments. Update analyses as dictated by policy changes.
• Develop effective multi-lingual communications and training vehicles to provide information to globally mobile team members.
SCOPE: Manage a team that ensures service standards are met for all global mobility. They will manage the assignee's expectations by providing expert counseling and guidance. This team will serve as a critical resource to our Creative team working on foreign projects.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university Finance, Human Resources, or related field required. Master's Degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE: 15 – 20 years required of relevant global mobility management experience required. Previous experience in international human resources and international payroll issues required. Previous finance or tax experience preferred. Knowledge of tax and immigration law preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
: Valid passport will be needed for occasional international travel.
