Judge Jerry is a nationally syndicated court television program produced in Stamford, CT by NBCUniversal and employs researchers throughout the country.
Position: Small Claims Court Researcher (Stringer)
Job description: Stringer/researcher will go to courts to research information contained in pending small claims cases. In some instances, stringer may need to drive a good distance to and from courts. Driving time is paid for, and mileage is reimbursed. Stringer will need to stay in regular and frequent contact with NBCUniversal office. This is a FREELANCE position (not employed by NBCU).
Requirements: Self-motivated, efficient, professional and organized, good communication skills, attention to detail, critical thinking, technical skills, and possess a working car with insurance. Legal/court knowledge is helpful, but not necessary.
You must fulfill weekly obligation consistently to retain position. This is a part-time, partial year job, with approximately 2 months of employment.
Salary: $12/hour OR state minimum wage (whichever is higher); $0.58/mile. Work-related expenses will be reimbursed (photocopying, etc).
