Hair & Makeup Artist

Responsibilities
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
• Perform airbrush and manual application of makeup to enhance the features of talent and guests
• Able to apply basic and complex techniques to maintain consistency and preserve the brand look
• Able to style hair from scratch/wet state. Includes blow-drying, round-brushing, curling, straightening, volumizing, and final styling of hair.
• Must be strong in BOTH skills
• Comfortable working with high profile talent and guests
• Maintain scheduling flexibility as hours will shift due to changing programming demands
• Maintain high performance in a high-stress, fast-paced environment without sacrificing speed and accuracy
• Stays current and up to date on beauty trends
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of available beauty products
• Able to multi-task and execute strong time management and judgment skills
• Maintain a sanitary, clean environment. Ensure colleagues and clientele feel safe
• Able to travel to auxiliary locations in NYC including NASDAQ, NYSE and 30 Rock
• Assist with product requests, orders & shipments
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements

Basic Qualifications/Requirements
• Current Cosmetology License (Required)
• Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience working in LIVE television news, getting talent camera ready
• Barbering License (Preferred)
