Responsibilities
Role Summary:
The HR Coordinator will support Operations & Technology talent in Centennial, CO and Los Angeles, CA, reporting to a Manager of Human Resources.
The Coordinator will provide superior customer service in responding to the day-to-day HR needs of Global Media Operations and Engineering teams, and will support the overall employee experience by regularly problem-solving with partners across NBCUniversal: Talent Acquisition, Finance, Benefits, Payroll, HR Operations, Compensation, Facilities, Security, and Corporate Human Resources.
Responsibilities
Include:
HR Processes & Administration
• Process all transactions connected to the employee lifecycle
• Serve as expert in all HR processes and platforms: SAP, Business Warehouse, Timekeeper, Successfactors, etc.
• Act as the primary liaison with several HR departments including HRIS, Payroll, Timekeeper, and Benefits in order to troubleshoot, manage, and resolve day to day employee issues
• Handle data gathering and analysis as requested
• Respond to routine HR questions including, but not limited to benefits, payroll, time off, or redirecting employees to appropriate contacts
• Stay updated on new regulations, company policies, and procedures
• Participate in training pertinent to Human Resources as required
• Partner with other Coordinators to provide back-up support to larger HR team as needed
• Diligently maintain electronic employee files
Employee Engagement
• Partner with office management and HR colleagues across locations to deliver employee events
• Plan logistics for employee meetings, trainings, roundtables, and events
• Support local internal communications efforts in Centennial, CO and Los Angeles, CA
• Assist with program rollouts and trainings (i.e.: performance feedback process, compensation planning, benefits open enrollment, etc.)
Recruiting, Staffing & Onboarding
• Prepare job descriptions and post open roles to nbcunicareers.com
• Partner with Recruiters to onboard new hires, including HRIS processing
• Partner with business administrative support to ensure physical setup is complete for all new employees including phones, workspaces, and computers
• Assist with space planning
• Assist in entry level pipeline recruitment events, setup, and recruitment
Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree
• 2 years experience working with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

• Human Resources certification, training experience, or professional human resource affiliations

• Superior follow-through and attention to detail
• Extremely flexible, highly organized, and able to easily shift priorities
• Ability to effectively resolve issues and manage employee expectations along the way
