Position: News Writer and Content Producer

NBC 4 New York is seeking a News Writer and Content Producer who is a self-starter with a passion for visual storytelling. The ideal candidate will be experienced in gathering and writing content for all platforms, with a focus on breaking news.

Responsibilities:
• Work closely with Executive Producers, Show Producers, Anchors, Reporters, and Assignment Editors.
• Write, desktop edit, and gather content for all WNBC platforms.
• Produce content under tight deadlines without compromising credibility.
• Use graphic programs to visually enhance and showcase stories.
• Utilize social media tools to stay on top of news events and gather compelling video and pictures.
• Collaborate with the WNBC team to ensure complete and accurate local news coverage.

Preferred Focus Areas:
