Karamo Show – Booking Production Assistant
Job Description:
The Karamo Show is seeking a Booking Production Assistant for a project-based role. The assistant will be responsible for helping with guest bookings and supporting the production of segments. This is a limited-term position with a duration of approximately 6 months.
Responsibilities:
• Book guests and stories to appear on the show.
• Meet with guests in town and communicate their needs with the team.
• Finalize legal and guest paperwork.
• Outreach to guests regarding their stories for the show.
• Manage guest schedules for hair, makeup, wardrobe, and briefings.
• Assist the production team in all stages of production on show day.
Qualifications:
• Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum 6 months of professional TV experience, preferably on a talk show or news program.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, and internet navigation.
• Preferred Characteristics:
- Experience with daytime talk shows.
- Strong interpersonal skills and previous guest-booking experience.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with superior organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and follow direction.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
