What would you say you do here?
• Manages various administrative functions including but not limited to: phones, scheduling, organize travel arrangements, expense reports, maintaining status charts, preparing & distributing reports, word processing, photocopying, scanning and distributing documents, maintaining and organizing files and documents (both electronic and paper), utilizing DWA's legal database and filing systems
• Prepare for attorney meetings, including printing and collating agendas/status charts and setting up audio-visual equipment for remote attendees.
• Prepares correspondences and initiating & routing of contracts for review and approval.
• Update and maintain department status reports/memos.
• Interacts with external contacts, including agencies, law firms, management companies and other studios.
• Coordinates with internal teams such as Development, Contract Administration, Production, IT, Human Resources and Accounting as needed in support of the deal-making and contract negotiation and drafting process.
• Cooperative work style and be prepared to multi-task and to cover additional duties and other assistants on the team as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
What do I need to have in order to do this job?
• Minimum 2 years experience as an Administrative Assistant, ideally in Business Affairs, Legal or Production environment.
• Must be highly proficient with Word, Excel, Power Point, Google docs and Gmail with a willingness to learn role-specific software (e.g., Scenechronize, Document Management System).
• Strong organizational skills and an attention to detail are critical.
• Must be a proactive thinker, detail oriented and be able to follow through on tasks without consistent prompting.
• A professional demeanor with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• High ethical standards and the ability to handle confidential information.

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, which currently requires contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Beginning January 5, 2026, hybrid employees will be required to work from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
